A fun, not particularly difficult crossword ... excerpt for the parts that were 😀. Jean got through it fairly quickly, only hung up on  TIC and TAC v. TIT and TAT; Mike had to labor longer, the lacuna in his knowledge of Himalayan rivers once again almost proving his downfall.

As usual with Sunday crosswords, there are waaaaay too many clues to cover in the podcast: a few superb ones that were left on the cutting room floor include discussions of 124A, Forest nymph, DRYAD (not to be confused with a PSA for abstemiousness 😀); 99A, One of five every seven, WEEKDAY (hah!); 60A, Curmudgeon's countenance, SCOWL ()that award winning alliteration deserves, ... an award); and 88D, Ice cream entrepreneur, Joseph, EDY (Oh, so EDY had a first name? Who knew?)
