For years, it seems that my personal work has been created in a series of fits and starts — a staccato melody of inspiration that ends as abruptly as it begins. In 2008, I picked up a brush for the first time in a decade and over the next year or so created a small body of work, partially inspired by the propaganda of the 1940s.
