Chronic diseases are hard...Corri Gardner opens up about her experience and how it has impacted every aspect of her life.
Corri went from living in California, fresh out of high school, and experiencing what she assumed would be the best part of her life...to laying in a hospital bed with her future completely uncertain. Depression, fear, anger, and hopelessness were among the many feelings she endured after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. However, Corri managed to stand up and fight for her beliefs and live her life the way she wanted, not the way her disease wanted her to.

Corri decided to write her story after it seemed as though her story was going to be written for her. She exudes resilience, strength, kindness, and vulnerability.
