Lev 8
Aaron was ordained as the high priest together with his sons. He was adorned and dressed with the priestly attire . The ordination was to be conducted for seven days. Sacrifice was made with animals and the Lord instructed them through Moses the guidelines on the whole excercise.

Lev 9
On the eighth day of the ordination. Moses conducted the festival according to the command of God. The sacrifice was conducted and the glory to the Lord appeared to all the people and fire came down and consumed the burnt offering.

Lev 10
Two of Aaron sons were killed by God. They offered fire and incense before the Lord unauthorized. Meanwhile Moses Warned the remaining sons of Aaron to never allow their hair to be loose or tear their cloth as a sign of mourning lest they died .
They were to occupy the place of their deceased brothers.

Lessons from Today's reading.
God chose Aaron to be the high priest and also his sons were given the responsibility of conducting the worship. However God is not a respecter of no one. He showed his anger when they took him for granted.
We should not be too familiar with God to the extent that we begin to do things on our own mind without respecting his will.
