Summary of Exodus 35-40

OK we see that this is the last five chapters of the book of Exodus these last five chapters is going to go into detail, the construction of the tabernacle, and the priestly garments of Aaron and his sons.

Chapter 35. The Sabbath is discussed and talks about six days work may be done but the seventh day shall be a holy day and if anyone did any kind of work on that day, they were to be put to death. A little further down in 35 it goes over the offerings that the Israelites made to the Lord for the building of the tabernacle and the priestly garments. It also goes into the different skills and talents that the women and men had to be able to build the elements of the Tabernacle. Wrapping up in 38 and 39. The tabernacle is completed Moses inspects it put his stamp of approval on it, and he blesses the Israelites, and finally in chapter 40 the tabernacle is erected, and then the Lord speaks to Moses saying on the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and so Moses set up the tabernacle as God instructed, and the glory of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel.
