Proverbs, which is known as the book of wisdom, continues to emphasize the importance and benefits of wisdom.  It is stated that one should search for it like a hidden treasure.  For it prolongs life and brings forth peace and prosperity when applied.  Chp 5 warns against adultery. For it is said that “for the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil.” It also warns against foolishness, that one should never put up security for a neighbor: to take note of the work ethics of the ant.  For it has no commander or overseer but yet “it stores provisions in summer and gather its food at harvest.”   It also list seven things that the Lord detest including haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood are just a few.
