Libya shares her experience moving from a North Philadelphia neighborhood to the suburbs in New Jersey as a child, and how she decided to combine her love of art and her love of children to become an elementary school art teacher. She details how she grounds the teaching of art to the teaching of life for her students. Libya believes that we should all “speak up, and speak up scared” in order to be on the right side of history.
