I'm back again, with another solo episode! I just had a chat with Eric Deeter this afternoon for his podcast. You may remember Eric from episode 468, where we talked about the “ultramarathon mindset.” In it, he mentioned that a lot of people think that to train for a race, they just need to follow a plan and do the physical workouts. They don't realize that they could also benefit from working on their mindset.

This led me to think about a topic that had been on the back of my mind for a while: sports mindset. Now, I've already done an episode on this, back in mid-2021 with Jane Talbot. But the mindset work I do with myself has been paying off lately, and I've been seeing very clear results. I've been wanting to talk about this and share with you how you can make mindset work a part of your own training plan.
