I'm back again, with another solo episode! I've been thinking a lot about the importance of knowing your WHY for your outdoors adventures and fitness activities. It really helps to troubleshoot, make changes, and adjust details when you're in the middle of an activity and something goes wrong—or when you simply need to make some changes.
Knowing your WHY helps you to push yourself through challenging times so you can achieve your goals and stretch yourself out of your comfort zone. It helps with resilience. In this episode, I share a couple of examples from my recent outdoors adventures: a recent race and a fantastic 35K walk that I did last weekend.
Note: in the episode, I mention the idea of creating a separate values list for outdoors adventures, but when I sat down to do it, I realized the general values list works just as well for outdoors adventures. You can download that list via the link further down this page.
