Episode 23!

What a fun conversation this was - Kirra Molnar is a world rated, pro longboard surfer with roots locally on the Sunshine Coast, in Noosa. We dove straight into this conversation with everything that Kirra does for work as she hustles to make her passion her lifestyle.

Growing up having moved to the Sunshine Coast, Kirra now calls the waves in Noosa her home, surfing the iconic points at Noosa National Park when she is not traveling. Kirra not only travels the globe competing in high-level surf competitions through the World Surf League (WSL), she is rated number 25 in the world amongst other female longboarders! Kirra is the first female president of the Noosa World Surfing Reserve which aims to protect her home shores; works at Pro Movement; does personalized programs through her own company, KM Surf Coaching; interviews top surfers at OZ Longboarding; while balancing everything else that life throws at her!!

We really appreciated Kirra opening up about some of the struggles in a (yet another) male-dominated sport. She is stoked to see that it is changing for the better, but acknowledges we need to continue to do better for equality for all genders financially and inclusivity.

Kirra has such an infectious energy about surfing, and we loved the perspective of a pro athlete who also leads an everyday adventurer life, and again we are so grateful for Kirra's time! If you want to follow Kirra, best way is to find her on Instagram @kirramolnar .

Thanks again for listening, we hope you enjoy!

Kirra would like to acknowledge her sponsors :
