Comparing yourself to another industry can have a powerful impact. Insurance agents may sometimes believe they are competing with one another, and in some ways they are. At the same time, they are being compared to other industries such as Amazon. #Insurance agents look at the experience a customer has on Amazon and they expect to have the same kind of experience when shopping for insurance. However, they are not getting it because they don't have the technology nor the understanding. Insurance agents need to break the glass ceiling to gain the tools needed.

Chris Paradiso utilizes surveys in his agency. There are plenty of companies that use surveys to grow. There are also plenty of tools to help you survey, including social survey and rocket referrals. It is very critical to survey and listen to your customers. You may have a biased view of your business so hearing your customer's views will help tailor the whole experience for them. There is so much data from surveys that insurance agents can receive. Sifting through this data can be difficult, but it is very important.

The consistent entry of data into the management systems can be one of the most valuable assets you have. Is everyone on your team entering data the same way? You cannot decipher and understand your data if you don't have consistent data. Data is a powerful and valuable tool that you need to understand. Chris emphasizes that the most valuable thing in his agency isn't residual income, it's data.
