Chisel AI is an Artificial Intelligence vendor that specializes in natural language processing. They teach computers how to read. They focus in the insurance space where the help brokers and carriers become more efficient in the underwriting process through a variety of solutions. The two main solutions are policy check, which helps reduce errors, and a submission intake to help carriers underwrite more business.

2. How does Chisel AI help | 2:03
Think about a car salesman. You walk into a dealership, negotiate a deal, and drive away in the car. What happens next is the car salesman walks into the back office and starts filling in paperwork. He may spend the rest of his day filling in paperwork on something he's already sold, which means he's not generating any new business. The same thing happens with a policy check. On average, Chisel AI's clients spend 2-4 hours checking each policy. That's time wasted they could be spending soliciting new business or providing a better experience for the policy holders. Chisel AI helps free up the broker to spend more time with the clients and allowing them to actually sell more policies.

3. Who should be using Chisel AI | 3:46
Chisel AI typically works with independent agencies because it's easier to standardize the policy check process. They traditionally works with some of the bigger independent agencies, more than 100 agents, because they have the budget that is easy for them to attribute a cost to. Many smaller independent agencies would like to explore these possibilities, but it's hard to find the budget in an existing line item.

Ron was in college studying computer science when he developed knote, a tool to summarize textbooks. In two weeks it went viral and went on to be named one of the 50 best apps for students. In 2015, he was speaking on a panel when an audience member approached him and told him that the #insurance industry could benefit greatly from this software. Three years later they are one of the foremost players when it comes to policy check and submission intake for the broker and carrier market.

5. How is Chisel AI Reaching Agents | 8:10
Chisel AI starting reaching agents and brokers in an outbound fashion. They were calling and emailing 100 people a day everyday. Now they have re-branded their website to allow a more inbound form of communication. They now utilize content like blogs, podcasts, and webinars to break down the barriers in the digital marketing space. Chisel AI understands that it's not about the product, its about providing credible and valuable advice to the agents.
