Amy Stanton is always been the driver type. The type of person that's always been a high- achiever. Whether it was her role as a Head of Marketing and Communications for NYC 2012 (for New York's Olympic bid), or is the Chief Marketing Officer at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, or even more recently as a Founder and CEO of her PR Agency Stanton & Company, Amy is always been badass!

After self-reflection, what she realized is how she showed up in her professional career is also how she showed up in her personal life. This led her to investigate the balance between masculine and feminine energy.

In this episode, we talk about themes from her Ted X Talk and her book The Feminine Revolution in which she challenges the idea the femininity is weak and she encourages women to redefine and embrace their feminine qualities as a source of power. Historically, to compete in a 'man's world', women have felt the need to exert more of their masculine energy like assertiveness and confidence.

Amy advocates for us to not exchange a feminine trait for a masculine trait but rather to use masculine traits to enhance our feminine traits.
