Have you ever wondered why you don't get what you want when you ask your team member, co-worker, kids or partner to do something for you? It’s frustrating when you ask for help, and you find yourself disappointed with the results. We assume it has to do with the other person, that they can't get it right. However, what I've learned and coach my clients to practice is the skill of making a clear request. The lacklustre results are often on us as leaders and our lack of clarity in asking for what we want.
