Tom Shields is the 2009 Huntington Beach Pier Swim Champion. Also, a 2x Olympic Champion for the United States of America.

He joins us LIVE from Budapest to talk about breaking the American Record in the Men's 50 Fly this past week at the FINA World Cup Series. This was a best time for him by a few tenths.

We talk about training underwater, being addicted to racing, his love for short course, and being left off of several SC World Championship teams based on LCM qualifications. Coleman Stewart, the fastest man in human history in the 100 SCM Backstroke, will not be competing for Team USA at World Championships. Neither will Beata Nelson, the current ISL Season 3 money leader

Enjoy.
