The PS5 and Xbox Series X have been incredibly hard to purchase since they launched in mid-November and that’s largely due to an overwhelming presence of bot equipped scalpers. We’ll, the United Nations has finally said enough is enough!

After multiple reports of thousands of PS5’s and Xbox Series X consoles being scooped up by scalpers and presumably millions of dollars being made in cold hard cash, UK politicians are motioning to address the issue of scalping altogether.

The general idea is that a new law would ultimately be passed to outlaw scalping. While that’s pretty cool any type of legislature takes a long time to process and they will have to define the difference between acceptable and unacceptable parameters for resellers of all types of products.

That means there still probably isn’t any hope for those of us without PS5’s and Xbox Series X consoles, scoring one in the near future... but don’t worry about that now! Were imagining a better future on today's episode of Inside Gaming Daily!
