This Straight Talk with Inna was inspired by a message received from a listener who feels lost without her gym community. We get personal with co-host, Raina Butler as we tackle the topic of mental health and fitness. Raina talks about how losing her gym in the middle of a pandemic affected her physical and mental health. Raina is not alone, many of our listeners are suffering without the support of their fitness routines and the community that kept them strong.
Rebuilding a fitness routine might be the hardest thing you can do alone but it will be the most worthwhile, home gyms are trending.
"Don't wait to live, don't wait for an old normal, a new normal and stop trying to define it. Wake up every morning, make a plan and work with what you can. Life has always been ever-changing, it was never the same, although you might have felt like your routine was. Life will always be fluid and it will always be changing, so fortify yourself and get strong. I promise that you will start feeling a lot better real soon."
