It's so easy to let the daily grind keep us from working on what really matters. The constant pressures, tasks, and uncertainty can easily derail our days and suck our mental energy. Today's guest, City Librarian at Denver Public Library Michelle Jeske, shares how she led her team through change and didn't allow the pressures of the day distract them from their bigger vision. Michelle talks about how an organization as old and embedded as libraries tapped the power of innovation to bring community, connection and value to the neighborhoods they serve. She also talks about the importance of teamwork and how the creation of strategic guideposts kept their eyes on the prize and helped them become stronger on the other side of the challenges they faced. She also shares how she had to get more present and better understand the new challenges her team faced was essential to their success.
