Pascal Cammisotto is the writer and director at Draw Me A Pixel, developers of There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension (2020). Pascal was called out by my past guest Dennis Gustafsson, developer of Teardown (2022). There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a story-driven, ultra-humorous, 4th wall-breaking, point and click adventure. It is one of the most unique gaming experiences I have ever had.
In this episode we will discuss making video games in the 90s, game music composition, making 3rd party Ubisoft games, having a video game industry mentor, when games you worked on get cancelled and never ship, getting a game on Steam before Steam Greenlight existed, game jams, what do you do when your 10 minute game jam game gets millions of views on YouTube?, Kickstarter, and much more.
