Daniel Stubbington is the Founder of Stubby Games, developer of The Entropy Centre (2022). I have previously featured voice actors Kasey Miracle and Chloe Taylor on IGI for their work on the game. The Entropy Centre is a first-person, science fiction puzzle game with exceptional writing and heady puzzles. The game is available on PC, Playstation, and Xbox and it is published by Playstack. It was my #5 game on the "IGI's Top 22 Games of 2022" special episode. I think it is a fantastic game and I highly recommend it!
In this episode we will discuss what does "solodev" mean in the context of The Entropy Centre?, acquiring a publisher, writing a compelling narrative game script, the Unreal Engine, creating engaging optional written lore, puzzle game pacing, paper prototyping, greyboxing, advice on pitching to a publisher, and much more.
