Recognized nationally for her leadership and work in health equity and stakeholder engagement, Dr. Knitasha V. Washington is the president and founder of ATW Health Solutions. She has dedicated a life-long commitment to service and building viable partnerships to raise the national standard of healthcare for quality, safety and health equity. 

With more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare professional, she has gained international prominence for her successful leadership and collaborations with world health care systems, United States Government Agencies, community health advocacy groups, and government policy makers; helping them through some of their most complex structural and organizational challenges. 

Serving primarily as a performance improvement consultant for more than half of her career, Dr. Washington has demonstrated a successful track record for improving safety-net hospitals, public health care systems, and academic medical centers by implementing: public health campaigns, consultative performance improvement initiatives, policy analysis, organizational process improvement engagements, workflow analysis, and systems redesign

Dr. Washington serves as Board of Director for the National Quality Forum (NQF) and Fertile Ground Foundation (FGF).  She has a Doctorate of Health Administration and Certificate in International Health Studies from Central Michigan University.  Masters of Health Administration from Governors State University and Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Business from Chicago State University.
