We really do waste more time and energy just being irritable about the fact that it has to be done. It boils down to it's your choice. You can choose to have a dirty kitchen or an unmade bed, or you could choose to take the minute or five minutes that it takes to do the task and be happy all day long. Remind yourself that you want to do it and visualize the result. Say I want to do this because I get this result. And then all of a sudden, it's done and you don't have to do it.
