Comedian John Larocchia talks about the Laughter Saves Lives Foundation benefiting 9-11 surviving first responders, families as well as first responders in today's trenches. John, who was a fireman before being a comedian in 1990 loves the ability to make people laugh. When 9-11 transpired, John, who was a fireman (hazardous materials unit in Queens). During 9-11, John’s firehouse in Queens, 19 members perished. In memory of his comrades who had fallen, John started the Laughter Saves Lives Foundation and Comedy Tour. John raises money to benefit first responders as well as veterans! John reaches those in need and through his comedy shows- so many are benefitting - in memory of “his guys.”
