On the show today, I am doing another what I’ve learned Wednesday. After interviewing over 20 extremely successful business owner and founders I take some of their keys strategies and bring them to you in these short-form bi-weekly episodes. This week I dive deep into accountability.

Whether that Is accountability with a mentor, group, mastermind or life partner, it does not matter. You only need someone or something to hold you accountable to do what you say you are going to do until you build that muscle enough where you can hold yourself accountable. Of course, mastermind groups and mentors are some of the best ways to do this, but they both will most likely cost you a good amount of money. I am not saying that it is not worth it because speaking from experience it most definitely is, however, if you do not have that extra money to spend each then what you CAN do is start hanging around like-minded people. People who will tell you how it is and not sugar coat things for you. They want to accomplish big things just like you and if you say you are going to do something, and you don’t follow through, then they will let you know. They will not let you off the hook, they will call you out and hold you accountable. THESE are the kinds of people and friends you should be spending your time with.

“Without accountability, we are just going to keep running in circles.”

FIND A MENTOR, surround yourself with people who will keep it real and hold you accountable and call out your BS. When you say you’re going to do something, it is EXTREMELY important to follow through and do these things. The more you trick yourself into thinking that it’s not important to do what you say the harder it is going to be to actually execute on your dreams and ideas.

Now get out there find your accountability team and GET AFTER IT.
