I’ll Have Another Episode 23: Rebeccah and Laurel Wassner
Laurel and Rebeccah Wassner are professional triathletes living in New York City. Rebeccah is a three-time winner of the Nautica New York City Triathlon. Laurel is the first cancer-survivor-turned-professional triathlete and the first cancer survivor to win an Iron distance race.
I met Rebeccah at the Now Foods Immersion event with Fitfluential – she was the first person I actually talked to and when she mentioned she was a professional triathlete and had just had her second baby- I was intrigued – but I had not idea what a story her and her sister Laurel actually had! We started following each other on social media after the event and I’m so happy to have made this connection with thes ladies.
They are super sweet and though I was talking to two crazy fast triathletes, I felt like I could easily talk to them about my own personal race experiences and made a great connection with these two! You’re gonna love them too.
