I'm joined by Sie Morley (Twitter), the community editor for SB Nation NHL communities Fear the Fin, Anaheim Calling and Jewels from the Crown, to talk about their days in a very specific Harry Potter fandom on Tumblr. We also have an insightful discussion about how J.K. Rowling's less-than-stellar ideological views may have influenced her writing and her endless desire to explain every single aspect of how wizards life. There's also some stuff about hockey, the best way to make sure no one asks you stupid questions about your job, and pretending to be Canadian so no one asks you about Donald Trump.

I Like Your Shoelaces is a deep dive into all the hilarious and surreal stuff that happened during the blogging platform Tumblr's heyday. Each episode, I am joined by a guest to talk about an event or trend from Tumblr that still sticks with us to this day, as well as what they got out of their time on Tumblr and what it meant to them.
