This week we are joined by podcast alumni and friend of the show, Ashley Quintanar. Ashley is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Masters Degree In Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelors Degree In Psychology, as well as both a Masters and Bachelors of Arts.
Albert and Ashley discuss schooling to become a therapist, graduate program, and clients possible hesitancy
to therapy. Albert and Ashley also discuss stigmas surrounding mental health and different levels of trauma. Lastly, Albert asked Ashley why she wanted to become a therapist, how she deals with her own therapy, and resources and ways to encourage people to seek therapy, and to take care of their mental health.
