NY Immigration Coalition Opposes Schenectady County And Rotterdam's Anti - Asylum Seekers Efforts

The Schenectady County Legislature recently passed a resolution to issue an emergency order that temporarily prohibits New York City from relocating asylum seekers to Schenectady County. The Town of Rotterdam took similar action. Starting on July 18, three buses carrying around 150 asylum seekers arrived at the Super8 Motel in Rotterdam. Angela Castrillo-Vilches of the NY Immigration Coalition discusses the situation with Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
