On Thursday, September 14, 2023, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry was at a 'Starbucks Day of Action' gathering sponsored by the Public Employees Federation (PEF). The event took place at Latham Starbucks Coffee at 549 Troy-Schenectady Road. PEF members collected customer signatures to petition support for all Starbucks workers' right to organize a union. In this labor segment, Willie interviewed two PEF members, Danielle Bridger, PEF Region 8 Coordinator Bruce Giddings, Executive Board Member, and Divison 169 Treasurer, about their views of the Starbucks workers' struggle to unionize.
