Everyone experiences parts of the ADHD experience like distractibility, forgetfulness and mood swings. They're part of being human. As a result, it can be hard to communicate the impacts of living with ADHD because it's a matter of degrees; most people have similar experiences as part of their daily life and cope with them just fine.

Until I got my first and only migraine, I understood them as A Headache. I've had headaches, they sucked, but I coped. But the experience of being blind with pain and nausea sitting on a Vancouver sidewalk drove home how different they were. Yes it was still A Headache, but this was unlike any kind of headache I'd experienced. A matter of degrees.
