What are you writing as the script for your life? Turn off the victim mindset and tell yourself where you’re going to go after every obstacle you face in life.

Jon Dorenbos is incredible, multi-talented, and a former NFL player of 14 years with a Super Bowl ring to prove it. He is a world-class magician and has appeared on America’s Got Talent and the Ellen DeGeneres show. Jon is also the author of the book Life is Magic that is currently being made into a major motion picture. The highs and lows that Jon has gone through throughout his life are unlike any that most of us will ever experience. While accepting defeat and losing motivation might have been the easier route for Jon, he decided to make the decision to write his own script and use the lows in his life as a springboard to the next high.

In this episode, Jon and I talk about the traumatic event from his childhood, how he began pursuing magic, the value of consistency, how his NFL career ended abruptly, and so much more. Jon’s life stories are a true testament to the value of vulnerability and why you’ll find much more success when you write your own script.
