留学開始からひと月が経ち、MomoはHiroの住む留学生会館を訪問します。そこでのHiroの暮らしぶりは…？



「アメリカ★は愉快だ」は、英語は上達したいけど少し苦手…という方々を対象にしたシリーズです。シャドウイングの練習もありますので、しっかり聞いて、しっかり声に出して練習してみましょう。

9: International House (Hiro and Momo)



M: Momo! We’ve been in Reno for a month and you’re only just now visiting my house?



W: I know, I know, sorry. I’ve been busy… Whoa, you live in a nice house! Lots more room than the dorms, that’s for sure.



M: How is living in the dorms, anyway?



W: It’s not too bad. My roommate is really nice, I think… She’s always at her boyfriend’s, so I don’t really know her too well. So it feels a little bit like living alone. I’ve made friends with some of my neighbors, though.



M: That’s great!



W: How about you? Do you like living in the Boys’ International House?



M: Oh, yeah! Sometimes It’s kind of wild, though. You should see how messy the house gets after a party… It’s nothing like the get-togethers back in Japan.



W: I agree-- I went to a frat party last weekend and it was crazy!
