Today I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Lisa Erickson a certified energy worker,  mindfulness practitioner, teacher, and newly published author.

Today's topic is around understanding the significance of the chakra system as it relates to women stepping into their own voice, their own personal power, healing from past traumas and specifically healing sexual trauma and starting to thrive as opposed to simply survive.

We discussed the prevalence of lower chakra issues for most of humanity!

The 2nd sacral chakra tends to be out of balance for both men and women. For men, it has to do with blocking emotions and emotional expression. For women, it has to do with blocking healthy sexual expression, receptivity on many fronts as well as creative expression.

It shines a light on some significant issues we all face in relating to the opposite sex and what we all need to work on to heal the imbalances of the 2nd chakra (aka the sacral chakra).

Lisa shares here 15 years of experience as an energy worker, dealing with women's (and men's) chakra issues, but in particular what Lisa has discovered in her practice in dealing with trauma, in general, as well as sexual trauma, and how it affects the chakra system in general as well as the 2nd chakra (aka Svadhistana)  in particular.

Lisa Erickson also introduces us to her newest book: Chakra Empowerment for Women: Self-Guided Techniques for Healing Trauma, Owning Your Power & Finding Overall Wellness

Lisa is launching a LIVE online course in January 2020 that works well alongside her newest book. You can register for Lisa's online chakra course: Chakra Empowerment for Women here.
