Ode To A Better Future

2020. Not the beginning of a new decade for which we imagined. Starting with the tragic accident involving Kobe Bryant, a global pandemic, the unruly death of George Floyd, and the current increase in social unrest, the history books will need a boundless chapter to document the amount of monumental information regarding these uncharted times. Over the past few weeks, we have been reflecting on previous discussions posted to this podcast. We realized that there is an incredible inventory of themes relevant to what is currently transpiring. Due to this discovery, we felt it was not only critical to address our standpoints on the notions of racism, the Black Lives Matter movement, violence, and police brutality, but also express our thoughts on the many other stakeholders who play a crucial role in our society as well. Overall, as we reflect on the past and look towards a better future, we must attempt to empathize with as many of these key players as we can in order to attain more unity. Rest in peace to George Floyd and the many other lives lost due to cruelty.
