A good way to find something to blog about, Javacia advises, is finding the intersection between something you’re passionate about, and something people consider you an expert in. There will be many blogs passionate about the same thing you’re passionate about but your own perspective and story is what’s going to set you apart.

To stay focused on writing in this noisy world, remind yourself of why you’re writing. Telling another person that you are writing will keep you motivated.
