Bernardo Kastrup's work leads the modern renaissance of metaphysical idealism, the notion that reality is essentially mental. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy and another Ph.D. in computer engineering. Bernardo has worked for the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and now heads the Essential Foundation. Formulated in detail in many academic papers and books, his ideas have been featured in Scientific American and Big Think. Bernardo's most recent book is The Idea of the World: A multi-disciplinary argument for the mental nature of reality.

Here he and Dawson reflect on:

The physicalist postulate, that the physical world of matter is objective reality, is untenable.
Experiments in mainstream physics demonstrating this in the past 40 years.
Physicality is a representation of a deeper layer of reality which is itself non-physical. It’s mental.
Human potential movement has distorted the idea to say that you can believe something mentally and it will come true.
The massive paradigm shifts in several branches of science.
