060 - Triumphant Returns

The boys make a triumphant, day late return to the Hidden Chamber to record their 60th episode.  Today's movie is called The Barefooted Kid which you can find on Netflix.  No Basil for the intro today, he is in a deep state of concentration as he works to heal Patty back to 100 HP from her car accident.  The boys stumble through this art form they used to know how to do called Podcasting, which actually makes for a pretty good episode.

059 - The Golden Detective Pikachu Job

Today, the boys reviewed 2 movies, Detective Pikachu and a Chinese film called The golden job. Once again a near death pikachu moved an entire audience to tears, along with Justice Smith’s emotional performance. The boys moved on to review a movie called the golden job. A kung fu movie staring Ekin Cheng and Jordan Chan that made Alex cringe so much, we had to pause the movie because he started combulsing and foaming on the mouth. He doesn't handle the feel good moments very well. Enjoy!

The boys review their final Superhero before the summer time is here. We think that's all there is for a while...we think. Today’s movie is called Shadow.  It’s a movie about our lives as hidden shadows and all the secrets that we never told our enemies, I’m kidding, can you imagine??  No, it’s a Zhang Yimou movie, who directed movies like House of Flying Daggers, Hero, that one Matt Damon movie that was eh so so.  Our honorary shadows Nakonsy, Alex and Gaming Guru Khanh had a blast with this one.  So without further ado, I bring you, The Shadow Review.

053 - El Bayoneta SD Latino Film Festival

Fantastic, fantastic episode for you dear listeners!  The boys went down to their local film festival, acted like total stuck up Film major college students and watched an independent film.  Jk, they don't have the class to keep up a ruse like that.  They review a very approachable Independent film called El Bayoneta.  Don't worry, you don't learn something new about the woes of society at the end.  It's just a kick ass boxing film!  And a kick ass episode!  Enjoy!  Salud!

052 - Vietnamese Liam Neeson in Heroin Form

The guys are happy to report back that they've sat in a movie theater to watch the first Vietnamese film released in the US.  The movie is called Furie.  It's basically a more bad ass version of taken because it's lead is a mother saving her child from body traffickers.  Khanh talks about a fantastic game recommendation from one of our listeners and they squeeze in a Captain Marvel rant at the end.  Enjoy fam!

The boys flash back to the past not only in the story line but also in this movie's CGI!  I'd say this CGI belongs in....1987.  Other than graphics that would have the Terminator scoffing, the boys really enjoyed the action this movie had to bring.  Nakonsy busts out a shiny new format for the show and Alex stumbles through it somewhat unscathed.  Don't forget to show your Hidden Shadows of the Secret Chamber holiday spirit for Assassin's giving!

045 - Tai Chi Master Review a Listener Submitted Movie!
