In this special Wheel of the Year episode I discuss Samhain, the celebration based on the ancient Gaelic festival of the same name. Samhain is the final harvest festival on the Wheel of the Year, and is celebrated around October 31st and is one of the most magickal and mysterious times of year. I discuss the origins of Samhain and talk about how the themes and customs have made their way into the modern-day Halloween. Of course, I also share Samhain's correspondences, symbols, and themes, and share easy and simple ways that you can celebrate Samhain at home. I close out the show with a recipe from the very Irish Gemma from Bigger Bolder Baking that you can make to practice the traditional form of divination based in barmbrack bread.

Check out my Samhain Blend which features sage, black tea, pomegranate, and star anise  to draw the darker energies of the season into your life.
