In this episode I discuss the deep and delightful sun energy of calendula, or as it's more commonly known, marigold. From its association with the Virgin Mary to its use as a pot herb in the English countryside, calendula has a plethora of medicinal, culinary, and magickal uses. Join me as I explore religious traditions and folklore surrounding the marigold, and attempt to explain why all calendulas are marigolds, but not all marigolds are calendulas! I'll also share two recipes for calendula, one for calendula and marjoram butter and the other for a calendula salve.
