In this episode of Herbal Witchery we are talking about angelica, the "Root of the Holy Ghost". We'll look at angelica's associations with the spiritual realm and angelic beings, its uses as a medicine, a food, and a sacred herb. Then we'll talk about why wildcrafting angelica is kinda risky, as it has many not-so-angelic look-a-likes, but why getting in touch with angelica's magickal properties is super awesome. Associated with mothering, spiritual beings, divine energy, and healing, angelica is an herb that goes perfect with the upcoming sabbat of Imbolc. I'll end by sharing how you can use angelica in your practice and how you can make candied angelica stems (if you can get your hands on some!). Enjoy!
