Sue: Airway Specialist Nurse

Hen News introduces Sue Mazengarb, our airway specialist nurse. Sue has been in the department for many years, and worked as a ward nurse and ward sister before taking up her current specialist nurse role.

Sue tells us about her role, which she started from scratch. She has even been mentioned in the CQC report! It is great to see the support that she offers to patients both in and out of hospital.

Sue tells us what she does as part of our team, and how she looks after airway patients. She emphasises the importance of team work and collaboration, and how this helps us all work better together for patient benefit.
