The TV series Xena: Warrior Princess re-opened doors for female heroes on TV series in the nineties, furthermore it was one of the first series to depict, even if not openly, a relationship between two women and discussed important topics as diversity, tolerance, honour, loyalty, forgiveness and redemption through a variety of episodes alternating comedy, musicals and drama. We'll be discussing the importance of such themes, the series itself and its depiction of female figures.
