Suzanne Johnson is a San Diego-based online financial coach whose clients range in age from early 20s to mid-60s, each with a different financial goal. The most common financial dliemma faced by her client is student loan debt, sometimes in the six figures. By encouraging clients to identify their “why” for budget planning, Suzanne collaborates with them in building budget they can live with, including hobbies or other interests.
Part of Suzanne’s work involves breaking the taboo around money: she discovered that people speak more freely about sex. religion and politics than they do about money. By asking clients to examine their attitudes toward money, they can break free of old messages from early in life and create the financial life they want. Goals such as saving for a home, paying down a mortgage or other debt and trimming excessive spending are all goals that are within reach for motivated individuals, couples families, and businesses.
Suzanne has guided her clients through such financial traps as negative equity car loans, student loan debt, high-interest debt and more. She emphasizes a personalized, real-world approach to budgeting, and would never place a client on an unreasonable or unrealistic budget.

Suzanne has been teaching and guiding clients in the financial methods of Dave Ramsey for almost 5 years. She has experience leading Financial Peace University, Smart Money Smart Kids and The Legacy Journey. Suzanne has attended FPU Conferences and EntreLeadership Summit. Prior to becoming a Ramsey Preferred Coach, Suzanne spent 8 years in professional sports and 7 years in commercial real estate. When Suzanne isn’t working with clients, she loves hitting the open road on her Harley, and her scariest motorcycling adventure to date was a pitch-dark Malibu traffic jam.
