Kwame Alexander is a poet, educator, and the New York Times Bestselling author of 28 books, including SWING, SOLO, and REBOUND, the follow-up to his NEWBERY medal-winning middle grade novel, THE CROSSOVER.

Kwame’s newest book The Write Thing is available now. Kwame is also the forward author on Cornelius Minor’s forthcoming Heinemann book, We Got This! Equity, Access, and The Quest To Be Who Our Students Need Us To Be, due out this fall.
