We all have things that we dwell on, cringing to ourselves when we think back to stupid, embarassing, or regretful choices we’ve made. In fact, the feeling of regret has been identified as an emotion we feel as early as the age of two year old.

Especially for those of us who identify as perfectionists, we can really beat ourselves up for not choosing what we realize later would have been a wiser option. I probably should have majored in something different, should have gone to law school, should have started contributing to my retirement a lot earlier. We all have those woulda coulda shoulda moments.

In this episode, I am exploring how thanking ourselves for the dumb things we’ve done can be part of our path out of regret and into new energy.

Oh, and I mention a guided meditation that was a game changer for me. Here it is!
