Eric Metaxas is someone I have followed for years and so it was a real honour to speak with him face to face.
In this interview we talk about his latest book, "Is Atheism Dead?" which is packed with scientific, archaeological, and historical evidence.
It is a fascinating read, witty and entertaining and fills you with wonder and surprise with every turn of the page as it unpacks discoveries that point towards God.
We also discuss his ability to bridge the secular/spiritual divide and what backlash he has received at writing such a book that shakes up the scientific community and uses their own findings to look at truth.

Eric Metaxas is a best-selling author whose biographies, children’s books, and works of popular apologetics have been translated into more than 20 languages and he is also the host of the Eric Metaxas Radio Show, a nationally syndicated radio program heard in more than 120 cities around the U.S.
He was the keynote speaker at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC, an event attended by the President and First Lady, the Vice President, members of Congress, and other U.S. and world leaders, previous keynote speakers have included Mother Theresa, Bono, and Tony Blair.
Eric is the founder and host of Socrates in the City: Conversations on the Examined Life, an event series of “entertaining and thought-provoking discussions on ‘life, God, and other small topics'”
In 2011, Metaxas was the 17th recipient of the Canterbury Medal awarded by the Becket Fund for Religious Freedom and in 2013, Eric and his wife Susanne were jointly awarded the Human Life Review’s “Great Defender of Life Award” and he has been awarded honorary Doctorates from Hillsdale College, ‘The University of the South’.
