Previous Episode: Covered In Mud EP5

Andy plays race director of the Rallye66 Ranger Run and talks about the hard work and rewards of directing a race. As it turns out, you should fear the crossfitter in a multiple event competition. Are there too many races? How oversaturation might be affecting the running community. The boys have a full race schedule for the remainder of the year. With Andy running The Bass Pro Conservation Marathon on November 6, 2016 and You Don’t Know Jack 75K on December 3, 2016. Stephen is running The Skippo Trail Run 20K on November 6, 2016. The White River Marathon on November 19, 2016 and will meet Andy to run the You Don’t Know Jack 75K. Both of them are considering ending the year with The Run For The Ranch marathon or 6 hour endurance on December 31, 2016. Stephen talks about a great race review site that he uses called BibRave where you can review your races for others to read about and check on races you are considering running. Paul Staudigel from Inov-8 calls in to talk about the difference between normal running pain and injury pain. Be careful making toast. In the gear review segment Andy gives an update on the Inov-8 Road Claw 275’s and Stephen updates us on the Inov-8 Trail Talon 275’s. As well, both Stephen and Andy give their initial thoughts on the Orange Mud HydraQuiver Vest Pack 2. Both of the guys are having some training issues. Andy is finding it difficult to find the time to train properly and Stephen has been skimping on his strength training and as a result is suffering from a minor injury.
