Connie's motivational quote for today is by – General Colin Powell, “Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate, and doubt to offer a solution everybody can understand.”  I have found that simple strategies usually work best, especially when it comes to sales activity. 

 

Early in my career, my sales managers could have been better leaders.  Additionally, I have also found that successful salespeople do not always make the best sales leaders.  Just because we are good at selling does not mean we will be great leaders—two very different skill sets.
