We all have problems and at some time we all are in a state of fear! We need somebody to listen to us. But very few people know how to listen. We will explore what it means to listen to somebody else. Some just want to have somebody to listen to them to get it off their chest, some want input, some want to know it will be ok, and some want help solving their problem. The only way we can find out what they want is to ask them what kind of support they want from you. It is never appropriate to tell them how to live their life! A good listener listens with love and compassion. It is a challenge to sense what they are feeling and give them the gift that will enable them to get through this. Communication is 8% the words, 39 % the intonation of the words and 53 % the body language. Today we will explore how you can be a better listener. A major skill of a good listener is not to talk much at all. Also we will talk about listening to your body and your intuition.
