A new Season of HEALTHY(ish) is going to be your go to podcast! We are bringing on some amazing guests and getting some life changing information and resources for you. 

Today, to start off Season 2, I wanted to share something that I am very passionate about that I believe that we all need to understand on a deeper level. Especially for someone that has struggled with being a chronic dieter or losing weight. Until we move past the mindset and relationship with food problem, it will always be somewhat of a struggle. 
Any diet we go on is not fixing the underlying problem of mindset and our relationship with food overall.

Addressing the actual problem that is holding us back from those weight loss and health goals is the answer! 

Two issues to address with the weight loss/ diet culture: 

Let's be honest, if the commercialized diets actually resulted in weight loss and weight kept off, they would lose you as a customer. So then you become stuck in that dieting cycle. We are so focused on weight loss specifically as a goal. To see that number come off quickly, and most of the time when you see the number decline quickly, it is not a long term solution. 

Because we are never focused on the process, instead we are focused on the results, and that is not okay. I want to change your mind on this to get you on the path to no longer struggling.

Instead of losing weight, we are going to focus on improving our eating habits.

To do this we focus on designing your Individual Eating Philosophy and learning to use the number on the scale in a healthy way.
